Storyteller was named as such because Roast Master & Owner, Sean Marshall, believes that this describes the position of the barista in a succinct and precise way. The barista is the last connection between the farm & roaster with the end customer. The transfer of the story from farm to first sip is so important in keeping the long term relationship going between all parts of the coffee distribution chain. That connection, that story of the coffee's travels, helps drive the economic stability of the coffee farmer by making sure that the customer knows that they are getting a superior cup that has taken a great effort by a great many people to get to them.
